A career at the TAC Bringing new opportunities to Geelong
What is the TAC doing in Geelong?

The TAC's relocation to Geelong was announced in December 2005, as part of the Victorian Government's pledge to build regional Victoria.

The TAC is in a new purpose-built headquarters right in the centre of Geelong, within easy walking distance of Geelong station, the waterfront and shops.

The new building, on the corner of Brougham and Clare streets, is a stimulating and exciting working environment setting new standards in energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

It consists of some 15,000 square metres and includes car parking, retail, public spaces and other facilities.

Our staff can enjoy a balance of working in a growing city, just around the corner from the Surfcoast and only an hour or so away from Melbourne.

The new HQ features a state-of-the-art design and a 4.5-star environmental rating. For staff, this means plenty of fresh air and lots of natural light. The building has also been designed to minimise energy use and greenhouse gas emissions, as well as maximise renewable energy such as solar powered hot water.
